Terms of Service

1. Scope

These terms apply to the use of the software 'Relay' (macOS terminal emulator), provided as a download via relay-app.dev.

2. License

With your purchase, you acquire a personal, non-transferable license to use Relay on up to 2 devices. The software may not be resold, rented, or sublicensed.

3. Trial

Relay offers a free 14-day trial period. After the trial expires, a license is required.

4. Payment & Pricing

Payment is made as a one-time purchase via Paddle. The current price is listed at relay-app.dev (Pricing section). This is a one-time payment — no subscription.

5. Limitation of Liability

The software is provided 'as is'. The provider is not liable for damages arising from the use of the software, unless caused by intent or gross negligence.

6. Updates

The one-time purchase price includes twelve months of feature, bug-fix and security updates from the purchase date, regardless of major version number. An additional twelve months of updates from payment may optionally be purchased for €39; there is no automatic renewal. Without renewal, the last version covered by the purchased update period remains usable. There is no entitlement to the development or provision of any specific individual feature.

7. Final Provisions

German law applies. If individual provisions of these terms are invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall not be affected.
